Weight Loss Myth, Truth and Tips


In the United States alone there are an estimated 59 million obese people and sadly, this number is growing. The weight loss and diet industry is HUGE, raking in an estimated $40 billion per year, and the industry flourishes on myths and misinformation, with a focus on it's own profit. Knowing the truth of the industry, along with some helpful tips, will turn the tide of your health, your weight and your future.

The unfortunate fact is that many people hurt themselves in a vicious cycle of restrictive, yo-yo or extreme diet programs, when the simple truth is that by cleansing, detoxifying, eating a clean and balanced diet, exercising and resting, you will achieve lasting results and optimum health and weight.

Achieving your ideal weight has so many more benefits than just looking great, though I can certainly understand the desire to look your best. Health begins on the inside, and when your body is able to function as nature intended, then it will show in how you feel and how you look.

Myth - Weight loss and diet drugs will help me kick start my weight loss, and are OK in the short term.

Truth - this can be a VERY dangerous attitude, and here is why. Did you ever think that maybe you have some extra pounds because of something in your lifestyle? Years of extreme poor eating, dieting, stress, accumulated toxins etc have a cumulative effect and can ruin your hormone balance and metabolism. That might be why you can't lose weight. The diet industry, however, doesn't really want you to know that weight loss and diet drugs make the problem worse.

Tip - you need to heal your body and metabolism by living clean for weight loss and great health. Great health begins in the colon, and drugs further damage your metabolism and can send your health on a downward spiral.

Myth - I'm destined to be fat - I do everything that I am "supposed to be doing"- like exercise, eating well - but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Truth - You may have fallen victim to the diet industry's self-serving advice, and your body may be struggling with years of accumulated toxins and, believe it or not, parasite infection - after all, did you know that your body will wrap toxins in fat to protect your body from hazardous material floating around in your bloodstream? Did you know that a parasite will use vital nutrients that your body needs, and when your body doesn't get what it needs to function, it signals hunger? And guess what? Diet pills and refined, packaged "food products" are just making it worse, not better. What a waste of time and money.
